New England songwriters Travis Richard and Schuyler Whelden have been making music together since high school—and the creative chemistry they’ve built over the years is unmistakable.
As the primary songwriting team behind the infectious pop-funk of Miss Fairchild and the garage-soul of The Bold Type, Trav & Sky have collaborated with some of the region’s finest musicians to bring their songs to life. Their latest project gives the longtime collaborators room to explore fresh ideas, unexpected sounds, and the musical territory between rhythm and blues, country-folk, and soulful pop.
Drawing inspiration from artists such as Leon Bridges, The Avett Brothers, and Lake Street Dive, Trav & Sky pair memorable songwriting with juicy bass, slick grooves, rich harmonies, and plenty of soul.
